A happier ending to “Dark Side of the Moon” by lav123 Sam bent and picked up the amulet from where Dean had thrown it in the
dustbin. His mind was reeling from the implications of the gesture. When
Castile had asked for it, Dean’s reluctance to part with the locket had
warmed Sam’s heart, because he had known that it was precious to Dean
because he had given it to his brother.

To Sam, Dean is everything he needs and doesn’t need to be. The
amulet showed that and when Sam needed verification that what was going
on in his head was really just his imagination, all he had to do was
look to his brother and it was there, a constant reminder. And it was
always with them, every second of every day. Until it wasn’t.
Dean is overwhelmed with emotions and love after the stressful events of
the fog and seeing God. Alone in their motel room together, he shares a
moment with Sam, starting something new that he should’ve done a long
time ago.
Dean thought he’d seen all of
Sam’s perfect moments. Finding out he didn’t, and that he missed a
pivotal one, leads to not only trying to get a certain object back, but
also trying to make things right with Sam.

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Just had to get this down after seeing “Dark Side of the Moon.“
Dean goes pilfering in Sam’s bags and finds his amulet.
Seeing Double by butterflywrites After the events of Dark Side of the Moon, Sam and Dean again
get drunk, pass out, and wake up to find two people in their motel
room. This time, it’s their younger selves, from not long after
Christmas 1991, and they have to figure out how to get the kids back to
the right time.
(I don’t know who made these gifs but you’re the devil!!! I legit teared up. lol)
