I personally feel people forgot how cannon it is that Dean is a dark character. Him shoving the gun in her face doesn’t surprise me. He’s proven from early in the show how far he’ll go for family. Add in Hell–he was someone who tortured people in Hell, done things that we probably can’t all think of. Purgatory, demon, etc. I personally love it. The darkness is amazing and I love that it’s not hidden for fluffier writing.
