AU in wich Sam was in a psychiatry unit all this year between season 7 and 8 and Amelia was his doctor and she used some dog therapy on Sam because he needed something to care about in first to take care of him and Sam created his own world in wich she was her beloved. 

(To be honest this is kinda what i hoped to be true during season 8 but that never happened)
