i love that dean has this incredibly fucked up, animalistic, brutalistic need to protect sam sometimes you know what i mean he will literally destroy anyone or anything in his path to get sam out of danger and to murder the person who put him in danger in the first place and it does go past simple brotherly love like its more. and thats beautiful. that fuckin codependency is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
Here’s a fun fact you might not be aware of that always puts a smile on my face. The first ever Wincest fanfic was posted a mere 40 minutes after the pilot aired, that is how immediate of a thing it was.
And it really was! I was watching the pilot when it aired, and I remember thinking, “actual incest is about to be acted out on TV between two hot brothers” during the wrestling/fighting between Sam and Dean. I for real, 100%, thought that. And then on the bridge?? Mammma mia. *chuckles*.
