I love how they could be disagreeing about things, but then Dean can never say no to that. Especially when puppy dog eyes come to play. The emotions that play out on Dean’s face when Sam says “For me”, shows all the power Sam has over Dean without saying any words at all.

Holy FKHASLKJ THIS EPISODE GIVES ME LIFE Sam just actually talked about his feelings about Mary and his grief about never having a relationship with her and his sadness that Dean was always the one she turned to. Sam just actually gave vent to some emotions for the first time in 84 years. Someone hold me.

So I had a thought about last night’s episode and I just wanted to share it with someone! Near the end when Buddy saw Sam coming in he said to Dean, “Look. baby brother” and at first I thought it was weird that he would say that because who would look at that huge man and think “baby” anything but then I remembered that he had just shifted into Dean and knew his thoughts so the only logical explanation is that Dean canonically thinks of Sam as “baby brother”!

We know Dean’s called Sam little brother in canon a few times…but baby brother is just a headcanon practically coming to life! (especially when Sam’s in danger)
