Okay but I want an AU where Sam really does work for CPS. Just imagine it! Big, tough, muscled giant man crouching down so he has to look up at a five year old and very gently and sincerely promising them that he’s here to help them, and he’ll keep them safe and won’t let anyone hurt them anymore.
do u ever suddenly remember how much sam has done for the world and how little gratitude and thanks hes gotten for it and how much pain hes endured (and how little people seem to appreciate him in the fandom) and ur halfway to the humane society to get him 600 puppies before u realize what ur doing
