nonnie, you can go here http://wellcometothedarkside.tumblr.com/ficrec all the fics I rec are my faves, but these are those that I have on the re-read folder, I’m sure I’m forgetting some of them.
It Never Gets Easier Jared’s not so happily married. He married Jensen young, and had kids before he was ready. Before Jared knows it his life isn’t his own. Pushing down his own feelings, Jared makes a mistake that will change his life forever- maybe for the better.
Times Like These[pdf here] Five years ago Jared Padalecki ran away to Hollywood from small town Texas and made it big. With an Oscar nomination and Genevieve Cortese for his fiance the only thing that stands in the way of his happy ending is Jensen Ackles: his husband back in Texas who refuses to give him the divorce he wants. Going home Jared finally has to face everything he left behind, including the shock that his husband has been holding on to their marriage out of hope, not spite. Jensen forces Jared to confront the reason why he left and he has to come to terms with the fact that everything he told himself about his husband and why he left was a lie. That he’s still in love with Jensen.
A Devil to Help Me Get Things Right [pdf here] It was in moments like this that Jensen knew that they would be together forever. Nothing would or could break them apart. Jensen was wrong. At 19 he was in love with Jared, full of plans and hopes for their future. He didn’t count on dropping out of college and driving Jared away with cheating and drinking being part of them. At 30 Jensen wakes up with retrograde amnesia, his last memories of being 19 and happy. As he struggles to regain his memory and find out who he is, Jensen has to face the harsh truths of who he became and how he treated Jared. Determined not to make the same mistakes again, Jensen starts to get his life back on track and try to win an engaged and angry Jared back.
Best Served Cold Ten years ago, shy and awkward teenager Jared was humiliated by Jensen. When they meet up unexpectedly and Jensen doesn’t recognize him, Jared thinks this is his perfect opportunity to get revenge. But is revenge really a dish best served cold?
After The Tone Years and years on the same show can spoil a guy, so it’s no wonder that Jensen finds himself at loose ends after Supernatural’s over. With Jared’s schedule already filled up and no desire to play the Hollywood game anymore, Jensen takes a role in an Off-Broadway production in New York City, and starts himself on a journey to find out just who he is and exactly what – or who – he wants from life.
Just One Breath Following a horrific event during filming, Jensen’s life hangs in the balance and Jared discovers what is truly important.
The Jared Padalecki Untitled Project After Supernatural, Jensen and Jared aren’t talking. But a film’s a film and Jensen could really use the money. (
Lingering in the Golden Gleam On New Year’s Eve ten years after the end of Supernatural, Jared goes to sleep in Los Angeles and wakes up in Vancouver, in bed with Jensen Ackles. And they’ve got kids.
Full Service Firm Jensen’s ego is stinging four weeks after being dumped by his long time boyfriend. He’s been turning down guys left and right because, while he wouldn’t mind some nice, no-strings-attached sex, he’s more than a little scared of any kind of rejection. Enter the hot guy in the expensive suit who’s been drinking the bar’s best all night. Jensen nearly swallows his tongue when hot guy sidles up and says he’ll pay double Jensen’s going rate if he agrees to leave right the fuck now. Jensen’s more than a little peeved that the guy thinks he’s a hooker, but when he names an outrageous price off the top of his head, and the guy agrees without blinking an eye, he feels all his insecurities vanish. At least until a few months later when he realizes he may be in love with his one and only regular.
Fourth Wall When famous murder mystery fiction writer Jared Padalecki is suspected of having murdered his former girlfriend, he turns to his ex-boyfriend and criminal defence lawyer Jensen Ackles for help. Matters soon get complicated both personally and professionally when both the case and their relationship as lawyer-client turn out far more difficult and volatile than either of them expected, and the lines between fiction and reality, past and present begin to blur.
Alpha Falling This is an Alpha/Beta/Omega AU in which Alphas Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have fought for control of the construction industry in Dallas with dirty deals and underhanded actions throughout their twenties. Theirs is a world where aggression and dominance are valued above all else, and in fear of losing his position as head of his company, one of them will bring down his foe with one ruthless act that tears both their lives apart and forever binds them together.
Gunpoint Jensen got his childhood stolen away from him when he was ten years old. Along with his memory, his voice and every emotion that wasn’t fear, hatred or anger. Question is, can Jared help him get any of it back? And more importantly, does Jensen really want him to?
The Last of the Romantics Jared is the son of the Ackles family’s chauffeur, and has been in love with Sandra, the Ackles’s adopted daughter, all his life. He goes to London to find himself, and comes back a changed man. Sandra falls in love with him at long last, threatening her financially advantageous engagement to Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the heir of Morgan Industries. Jensen, her older brother and the CEO of the Ackles Corporation, must devise a plan to keep Sandra and Jared apart so his carefully plotted merger can go through as intended. His own machinations backfire, however, as he learns the meaning of love, selflessness, and what it’s like to truly need someone else.
The second Man A rewrite of the movie Overboard. Jared’s wealthy and wound too tight, and his parents seem intent on keeping him that way. Jensen’s the oldest of four unruly siblings who lost their parents four years ago. Things keep slipping through his fingers no matter how hard he works to keep them together. When Jared’s parents manage to ruin the last thing that Jensen has for himself, right before their son washes up on the beach with amnesia, Jensen’s lifelong friend and Bear Creek town Sheriff, Christian Kane, takes it upon himself to get some payback. Jensen’s sure he’s not gay, and Jared’s sure he’s never lived at the end of Ackles Rd, but somehow their made up life together makes more sense than their actual lives apart.
My Name Is Trouble Six years after Supernatural ends, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki find themselves in completely separate lives after a falling out. It’s possible neither of them has ever really recovered from the other. But an unexpected turn in Jensen’s life brings them back together to sort themselves out again.
The Untold Love Story of Inanimate Objects : It’s the end of Supernatural. And after years of being together, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki prepare to part ways with one final getaway. But when Jared meets with a ‘freak accident’, saying goodbye becomes harder than it already is. Jared needs help healing, lots of it. And Jensen may have the best intentions at heart but he doesn’t really know what he’s doing.
Self Defense Jensen knew something was wrong. He didn’t know how he knew, but he did. What he finds at Jared’s home will change all their lives forever.
Ergonomic Dean sees an advertisement for Sam’s preferred brand of boxers, which claim that they’re designed for those well-endowed in the genital area. Following this, Dean spends an inordinate amount of time obsessing over whether Sam’s dick is bigger than his, and then just obsessing over Sam’s dick.
Sure Got a Dirty Mouth Ever wonder how Dean started talking dirty? The genesis is in the way Sam and Dean allow their feelings for each other to become physical. Sam is nearly 17, Dean is nearly 21.This story has dirty talk, all the feels you can handle, infinite love and even a plot that develops into a nail-biting narrative, with the best kind of hurt/comfort. This is NOT just a smutty story. This explains why Wincest is beautiful, loving, and right. SPOILERS for seasons 1-6.
Different As It’s Always Been On a cold November day in 2015, the demons finally gave up on Earth and went back to hell. The angels left a day later. Sam woke up in the bunker the morning after everything changed feeling exactly the same. It took four years, three weddings, two guinea pigs, and Dean nearly dying for Sam to realize that nothing was the same after all. Especially his feelings for his brother.
When It Crackles A cult is rumored to be guarding the Fountain of Youth. Oh, and while investigating it, Sam and Dean get roped into getting married. Yep.
Memories of Me Dean gets amnesia and doesn’t believe that he and Sam are just brothers. He can’t figure out why Sam is putting him on, but he knows what he wants. Strangely, it’s Sam who keeps everthing from falling apart when they get Dean’s memory back. Excellent, excellent series.
Courting Death Sam Winchester lived the first six months of his life in a happy family; the next twelve years as John Winchester’s only son, and the last decade as an orphan. He’s supposed to die at twenty-two trying to save the woman he loves from a fire, because he doesn’t have a brother to pull him back. But the night Sam meets his Reaper he discovers that Death is overly fond of pop-culture references, too beautiful to be real, and reluctant to kill him.
Enough of its Glory Remains Every war has casualties, and Sam and Dean are nothing if not warriors. Scarred both mentally and physically, they find themselves settling into civilian life in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia among the charming townspeople, local history, and peaceful mountain views. Sam finds work at an auto shop and Dean stumbles into a job at the occult bookstore on Main Street with a familiar grimmoire in the window. Things are deceptively quiet as they patch each other up and come to terms with domesticity, the only contact with their old life a quest to rebuild Bobby’s library – until a case crosses their path, the kind they thought they were done with forever. They find themselves once again fighting a vengeful spirit as well as their deeper feelings for each other. Only one is a battle they can win.
Like a Fish Out of Water AU after Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie. During the final battle with the Leviathans, God finally makes an appearance and deigns to intervene. After granting Sam and Dean a few final requests, he ‘packs his bags’ and takes everything supernatural in existence with him. Left with nothing to hunt, Sam talks a reluctant Dean into settling down in a small town outside of Sioux Falls. Sam seems to want them live a normal kind of life, but between the ridiculous estate sale Sam bought to furnish the house, the arrival of a very human Castiel who’s overwhelmed by human emotions, and their quirky, invasive neighbors, it’s anything but. Dean’s having a difficult time adjusting, convinced everything couldn’t be more abnormal until Sam reveals exactly what kind of life he wants to have with Dean. Dean can’t deny the part of him that wants it–but can he accept it?
Stranger Than Fiction Meta-comedy/drama set immediately post-4×18, The Monster at the End of This Book. Dean can’t stop wondering why people would write gay porn about him and Sam. Research takes him to interesting places; re-reading novels for subtext, visiting message boards, and a really freaky place called LiveJournal. What he discovers is a sick fascination with fanfiction, more about gay sex than he ever wanted to know, and an even deeper obsession with understanding why people write this stuff. Meanwhile, they’re hunting a mysterious monster that takes the form of a person’s truest love to kill them slowly, the lines between fanfiction and reality are starting to break down, and they still have to stop Lilith and save the world.

On A Wing And A Prayer by sinestrated (6,236 words). It’ a slow, almost lazy night at the bar when the Winchesters walk in. Futurefic, second-person outsider POV. Legendary!Winchesters, demonic!Sam, angelic!Dean (less cliche than it sounds), and a cameo by Lucas (“Dean in the Water”).
Own It by king_wizard (6,815 words). But he’s never going to be able to burn the image of Sam cradling one hand around the perfect curve of Dean’s face, dropping the other to the cut of Dean’s hip (made for fingers and tongues to trail down, to taste), walking Dean backward until Dean is flush against the wall and Sam is flush against him. This is something that can’t be denied.
It should be mentioned that this is John POV and that the fic contains unrequited John/Dean.
Legal Wincest ‘verse by flawedamythyst (7,847 words). Sam and Dean gets arrested and tried with incest. One of the fics in the ‘verse is outsider POV. No author summary.
Living is Easy With Eyes Closed by runedgirl (~8,900 words). Ellen Harvelle has been watching the Winchester boys for most of their lives.
Dandy in the Underworld by dear_tiger (~12,000 words). They say there is a secret game in Las Vegas, the greatest one of all, in which the hero plays against the dragon for three nights, and the prize is a wish granted, and the penalty is death. A new player arrives to try his luck, only to discover that the game is held in a dump of a house in the desert and that the dragon is a dude named Dean, chained to the house by the ankle. The hero soon realizes that he cannot leave unless he wins. The dragon is growing blood-thirsty, the game makes no sense, and the hero’s only hope are the clues dropped by the dragon’s brother who’s just along for the ride
Crush by sonofabiscuit77 (~61,000 words). Five years after the apocalypse didn’t happen and Sam and Dean have settled down, or as much down as the Winchesters can ever settle down. Sam is a college professor and Dean is a well-respected small business owner and they’re learning how to balance work, hunting and dog-ownership while coping with the metaphorical and literal scars of war. Life’s not perfect, not for a (sort of) out and proud couple in small town USA with a lot to hide, but they’re dealing, that is, until Dean employs one sexually-confused teenager who develops an unhealthy obsession with both of them… Switching between five years earlier and now, we learn how the boys came together, how they made it through the big fight and whether they’ll ever manage to find that flighty temptress, happily ever after. Around half the fic is outsider POV.
Dean Winchester is a Preacher, from a long line of Preachers. He believes unreservedly in The Revelation of The End Times; he sees the evidence of its truth in the desolate dying world all around him every day. The End is coming. It is unstoppable. Humankind’s destiny is a foregone conclusion.
And then a Hunter arrives at Dean’s Church and asks him a frightening question: What if the future isn’t set? What if The End of Days can be stopped?
The Hunter’s name is Sam and he speaks Heresy. But he also knows Dean far better than any stranger should, and Dean quickly finds himself captivated by the man’s vision of a better future.
And so begins an epic quest across the Badlands: a quest for knowledge and truth; a quest for freedom; and, ultimately, a quest for humanity’s very existence.
Big Bang 2018
Wincest | AU | Explicit | 50 K | AO3
raised apart | powers!Sam | Postapocalyptic AU | hunters as an ethnic group
I have been brooding over this rec for more than a week. I started reading the story and knew I would want to rec it about halfway through, finished it, started the post and then…nothing. Since it’s hiatus I spent some time thinking over S13 and somewhere along the lines I realized I needed to approach this fic like the latest season of Supernatural:
Just go by feel and ignore the details.
This fic feels like Supernatural of the new era. It’s the fic for people who are nostalgic about ‘early SPN’ but who embraced the different tone, colors and music of the ‘new SPN’. It’s a story for people who still love the show and who still feel that ‘thing’ we all feel when the show does good.
You liked the idea of Apocalypse!world: This fic plays with a postapocalyptic world too. This one comes with a lot more worldbuilding and adds Hunters as an ethnic group into the mix. Definitely check out the fic it was inspired by, it’s a great one that I should rec one of these days…
You liked seeing all your old faves come back: They’re all here too! Mary, Charlie, Kevin, Bobby and a host of others make this story a beautiful family reunion.
You love a good callback to the early seasons: Strap into your seats friends. This fic is pretty much made of references, easter eggs, quotes and canon plot lines with a twist. It’s so much fun!
Ok but the Wincest…?: Also happening, no worries. A lot of pining, heated glances and battles with the ultimate enemy ‘personal space’ 🙂 Also, a pretty good resolution to the “Oh God, we’re brothers?!” reveal and smut that earns the explicit rating.
All in all I call this a successful beginning to my personal Big Bang season and if any of the above is your thing you will enjoy this too!
I took a break from Supernatural, and somehow I got roped right back in. This is super late, but there is never a time I cannot read current-season fics. I loved so many of these! Fic writers are getting so good with their mannerisms and tone that it’s freaky realistic. Brothers dealing with Jack, dying, and sometimes the general bunker era. Not all of these are one shots, but most are! Some may be short, some may be long. They are all about gay brothers.
Another list I’ve been meaning to get to for forever. Sam uses his awesomeness to save Dean from hell:
Shelter Beneath the Mundane (5,100 words, R). A very different take on it, but lovely. Sort of a time-loop fic. Really enjoyed this.
The Firefly that Loved Metallica (10,600 words, R). This is one of my favourite fics. It’s sweet, but also has a little something more to it.
It’s the Blueprint of Your Life (38,000 words, nc-17). A really interesting fic, where Sam goes back in time and is given another chance at dealing with Dean’s deal. (It could be argued that Sam doesn’t technically save Dean from hell in this one, but I say he did since Dean went to hell in Sam’s original timeline).
Kicks Like a Sleep Twitch(28,000 words, nc-17). A very different take on it, which I like. Sam starts using dreamroot during the year before Dean’s deal comes due, and it ends up creating an unbelievably strong bond between the boys.
The common fate of all (10,000 words, R). A really eerie type fic, which really works, as it’s about hell. I like this one—it felt so lonely and bleak. Dean works in insurance, lives a normal life, and then he meets Sam.
Me and the Devil Blues (2,200 words, R). A short one. Sam gets Dean out of hell, but he’s not the same Dean. This one is more complex than you might think, and stays with you.
Extremist Means (8,400 words, nc-17). Another interesting take on hell. Sam saves Dean, and there’s Wincest, and it’s very wonderful.
Death Like Dying (3,100 words, pg-13). When Sam gets Dean out of hell, Dean doesn’t remember anything. Really lovely, focuses on the aftermath of Dean getting out of hell.
Amidst the Wars of Elements (7,500 words, PG). More about the aftermath (Sam caring for Dean after, some very sweet hurt/comfort), but this one is quite lovely.
I’d Gladly Lose Me To Find You (36,000 words, nc-17). I recommended this one fairly recently, on the mute!Sam post, but it fits perfectly here. Sam saves Dean from hell, and has to give something up.
To Put Asunder (12,500 words, PG). Sam turns to myths to get Dean out of hell. An interesting fic with some lovely art.
You Take It With You (30,000 words, nc-17). A really fantastic story where getting Dean back is just half the battle. Now Sam is stuck with an incorporeal Dean, and he can’t figure out how to get him back in his body.
Oh my, so there are a lot of good fics out there but I’m going to give you a list of writers whose characterization of Sam and Dean I consistently love, along with a few of my favorites from each author.
Graphic made by Marina where we try to convince Rosali to ship J2 by reading fics
Who Watches Over Me?: Jensen Ackles is an ex-Navy SEAL turned civilian bodyguard with a mysterious past. Jared Padalecki is a flamboyant Hollywood star known for his action movies who’s been receiving death threats. The case sounds like Jensen’s idea of a nightmare, and he takes it on against his better judgment. Jared drags him to clubs and parties and award ceremonies without any care for how difficult he’s making Jensen’s job, and to his complete lack of surprise, they hate each other. But when hate changes into passion, it begins to reveal something deeper between them, and Jensen realizes he’s in over his head. Can he still do his job and keep Jared safe? Or will he fall prey to his greatest fear and fail someone… again?
They Stumble That Run Fast: This is what happened to Jared Padalecki when he mixed a little Cyrano with a little Shakespeare and fell ass over feet in love with, Jensen, his Shakespeare tutor…who may have been in love with someone else.
The Billionaire’s Bidding: When idle, slacking billionaire’s son Jensen Ackles lends a helping hand to his old childhood friend, he gets a lot more than he’s bargained for.
Melting Under Blue Skies: In which Jensen tries hard not to fall for Jared, and is generally sort of an idiot, and Jared hugs a lot.
My Heart Don’t Beat the Way it Used To: Jared and Jensen have been best friends forever, and nothing’s going to ever change that, not even senior slump, or college anxieties, or even Jared getting an annoying cheerleader girlfriend. Or so Jensen thought.
Paid in Full: Jensen is a discouraged divorce lawyer and unlucky with love. Jared is his new neighbor, a poor business student who is hard up on cash and also extremely handsome. When Jensen loans Jared the money to get out of debt, Jared thinks of a very unconventional way to pay Jensen back. This is a classic “fake” boyfriend story with a few fun twists.
California Shallows: Jared and his friends are spending their last summer together before college on the beach in an out of the way town in sounthern California. Enter messed up Jensen with an odd fixation with the ocean. Jared’s summer blow out just got more interesting.
But We’ll Always Have Our Vending Machines:Jensen is the new math teacher at Stimson High. On his first day, he meets Jared Padalecki, an English teacher with a killer smile and a little too much time on his hands. Jared is pretty much perfect except for one thing: Jensen has no idea if they’re flirting or just friends.
Spin the Light to Gold: It’s Jared’s first summer as a junior counselor at an idyllic summer camp, and he’s looking forward to as much sun and fun as he can handle. But things don’t turn out exactly as he plans, and his summer takes an interesting turn when he finds himself falling for a hot older counselor. Featuring Chad, crafts, hordes of kids, and all the summer camp cliches imaginable.
But Then My Homework Was Never Quite Like This. Homework!verse: Jared’s eighteen and in his senior year at a private school in San Francisco. He’s coasting pretty on his parents generous school donations—until his seventh period Physics teacher gets replaced with the maddening, infuriating, gorgeous Mr. Ackles. Jared’s gotten by all his life on his money and his charm, but Mr. Ackles seems to think he needs some… lessons in self-control. The journey their relationship eventually takes them on turns out to be far more than either of them ever bargained for.
as this sunset turns to morning: Jensen spends his life hiding who he is from the family that would never accept him if they knew. When he’s uprooted in the middle of his senior year and suddenly becomes the new kid, his carefully placed mask begins to slip. Especially when he meets Jared – a loud, outspoken spectacle of a boy that fights for everything Jensen was taught to stand against. Jared has no problem going after what he wants, and now it’s just a matter of Jensen letting himself do the same.
And the Rest As They Say Is History: Struggling actor Jensen takes a job as big-shot movie star Jared Padalecki’s dogsitter. And the rest, as they say, is history.
To Teach the Human Heart the Knowledge of Itself: Every spring, while thousands of other college and grad students flock to sunny beaches or head home to do laundry, Jensen gives his time to a performing arts group which aims to raise money and arts awareness in school aged children. Each year, the group spends spring break together on a different deserted college campus rehearsing and performing a play, letting local schools observe both the process and the final product, and raising money and encouraging participation in the arts in the local community. Jensen’s about to finish grad school; this is his seventh and final year with the program, and performing the lead role opposite his best friend Chris might just be the highlight of his year—that is, until he arrives to find Chris missing in action, and some guy named Jared taking his place.
Let Us Compare Mythologies: Jensen Ackles, award-winning author, is experiencing the longest writing dry spell of his life until he spots a good-looking stranger in a bookstore window and suddenly everything changes.
Busy Doing Nothing: jensen gets a job scooping ice cream at a beach resort. he meets jared: a lifeguard. seriously. his life is awesome. but summer is an escape, and real life happens, and sometimes he’s a huge idiot.
The King and The Lionheart After the disastrous but effective removal of the Mark, without allies or a reason to keep hunting, Sam and Dean Winchester leave their old life behind them in flames. They re-emerge from the ashes as Sam and Dean Wesson, residents of Misty Luna, Maine– a town with a personality all its own. As they settle into civilian life, they gain careers, a home, good friendships and the kind of fulfillment they never thought possible. But with nothing left to fight, the underbelly of their particular kind of love is thrown into sharp relief, especially considering the whole town thinks they’re married, anyway. After dancing around their feelings for the past twenty years, Sam and Dean find a peace they never knew existed, and through it all, they find each other again. And maybe, just maybe, forever. Curtain!fic. Canon divergence after 10×21, “Dark Dynasty.”
Constellation“You should be lookin’ at the stars, not at me.” Dean tries to fight against the blush he knows is rising up his neck from not even being stared at, but fucking gazed at, like he was something to be hung up and admired for hours, except he’s just him and while he knows he gets his fair share of appreciation, he sure as hell doesn’t deserve the treatment that Sam’s giving him right now.
The Consequence Sam wakes up from a black-veined, fog-like nightmare after the events of “Don’t Call Me Shurley,” 11×20. He heads to the library for a nightcap, but instead, he finds Dean.
The Little Spoon To his horror, Sam discovers that he’s a stealth!snuggler.
Dean, Interrupted When Sam catches Dean in the act Sam admits he has never successfully jerked off so being the awesome big brother he is, Dean decides to teach him a thing or two.
Top This Dean’s sure he’s a top. Only problem is, Sam’s pretty sure that’s his job
Fix You After their encounter with Famine, the boys are in dire straits. With Dean left shaken by the horseman’s taunts – which rang truer than he’d like to admit – and Sam juiced up on demon blood again, Dean is at a loss. He has no idea how to move forward, or where they’re meant to go from here. Then again, they’ve always had each other – perhaps their salvation isn’t as far away as it seems.
Stanford Hoodie Sam has to leave for a few days to go pick up some lore books from a fellow hunter. Dean misses his baby brother more than he thought he would, so he seeks comfort in Sam’s favorite old Stanford hoodie.
Then We Will See Face to FaceThere are days when Dean can pretend that Sam was never dead. Like today, like now; watching Sam spin around some hotel dance floor with a woman in white, his face flushed open in joy, Dean can almost see this as his brother’s wedding, can picture him again 22, holding the love of his life in his arms.
Remember Me As A Time of Day Sam is sure of many things in this world – many, many things – and the realization that he is in love with his brother has just become one of those things, and it’s okay. Dean looks back at Sam and he smiles and it’s brighter than any light in the sky because Dean is Sam’s sun, the center of his universe, the reason he moves, breathes, lives, and for now, it’s okay. In seven days, Sam is going to have a black hole swallowing his chest, but for now, it’s okay.
A Matter of Time Sam leaves Dean a voicemail where he names the one thing they were never supposed to name between them. Well, names it as well as one possibly can in a drunk dial. The chain of events and ongoing game of telephone tag that follows dredges up some old memories and feelings that Dean’s been fighting for a while now, and he’d really rather not fucking deal with any of that, thanks very much.
Then Dean gets careless and everything comes to a head. After all, it was only a matter of time.
Courage After an encounter with a vindictive spirit, Dean loses an important part of his personality.
Rankle & Gall Post Gadreel-reveal: after a month of not really finishing their unfinished arguments, Sam and Dean finally do finish one, and get back on the same page so that they can deal with the Mark of Cain the Winchester Way – together. An alternate take on Season 9 with Cain summoning, soul-bonding, Oz-sourced magical spell casting, much lasagna baking, and angsty reunion-type schmoop.
Mystery Flavor Sam and Dean play a game from their childhood, but it has unforeseen consequences
