Soulmates! fic recs

for the anon who asked HERE, since you didn’t returned my ask, I’m going with these, mostly AUs in which the soulmate!bonding is a real thing.

Chinooks, Conventions, and Other Hazards of Life  In this AU world, soul mates are a very real phenomenon. While it’s
rare, people can find their soul mates and when they do they feel an
instant connection and have to stay together. If they don’t, both
parties get ill.
Jared is a semi-famous actor and a bit of a
jerk. He sleeps around and parties through his life. He really wants a
soul mate but at 31 he doesn’t think he’ll find one, so sometimes he
does the sleazy thing and pretends he feels a soul mate connection to
get someone in bed.
Jensen is a hardworking and shy 35-year-old
guy whose life has never been easy. When he sees Jared on a TV show, he
realizes that he has found his soul mate and is very excited. He hops on
a plane to a convention to meet his soul mate. He is thrilled when
Jared notices him and calls him his soul mate.
The next morning,
though, things don’t go as Jensen expected and both men find themselves
struggling to get better and to find their way back to love – each in
their own ways.

The Word of Us  When Jared Padalecki headed off to college he thought he was going to
get an education and eventually mate with a nice girl his Mama would be
proud to call daughter. He never expected to lock eyes with Jensen
Ackles and have his whole world turned upside down.  After
spending a week with his family, mourning the passing of his
grandparents, the last thing Jensen expected was to come home to his
roommate in the throes of a mating fever. Taking the high road, he moved
out. Unable to find an apartment at such short notice he found himself
moving back into the dorms and rooming with a freshman named Jared.

Imprint In a world where love at first sight is a

Supernatural; things just go a little differently after that.

to die at twenty-two trying to save the woman he loves from a fire,
because he doesn’t have a brother to pull him back. But the night Sam
meets his Reaper he discovers that Death is overly fond of pop-culture
references, too beautiful to be real, and reluctant to kill him.

Watching From Shadows  and its sequel Dawn of the New Order Apparently there’s something special about the boy, though Jensen hardly
feels motivated to figure out what it might be. He’ll just stick to
following his orders to protect Jared, no matter the consequences.

Not Alone 
Everyone has a mate and during his or her
prime years instinct helped them seek them out. Jensen spent his years
searching lazily at first but by then end desperate. Now he’s nearly
thirty and about to be legally proclaimed ‘Widowed Before Mating’
Because after nearly fifteen years of hunting for his mate without
success, it’s clear that he or she has died. Jensen doesn’t want to be
bitter about it he just wants his mate, because somewhere in him, he
knows he is still out there.

The Beams of Our House Are Cedars  There’s only one way to deal with the impact the
trials are having on Sam, but Dean’s not sure they can do it.

Faerie Ring
  Fairy Jensen is on his way back home to
the palace when he gets jumped. But then a huge guy in a shiny armor
comes to his rescue. As thank you Jensen offers himself to his
protector. And Jared? Of course he fucks the pretty fairy

Destiny Calls Five years ago, something happened to Jensen.  Something he could never
have predicted.  Now he’s happy, living with his pack.  That is, until
he runs across a wilderness researcher that will change everything.  But
will that change be for the better?
