This may come off as wank, but oh well. This just feels like another example of Dean getting control over relationships of that belong to them both. The writer’s prioritizing Dean. I’m glad Dean is getting moments with Jack, but to again belittle the connection Sam has always had to him saddens me. Sam who has always been there for that kid. Who knew his birthday.

YUP. I just wish they would do it evenly. Which I get can be hard because if they were to do that it would almost have to be between the 3 of them. But i just wish they hadn’t built up and entire season of Sam and Jack bonding only to not have ANY of it this season. I’mg glad Dean is growing, but like you said, I wish it wasn’t at the cost of Sam

What a fun ask to come home to!! I think Tom is like 100% Jared, just his hair his eyes everything. Shep is definitely kind of a half and half of Gen and Jared, like there’s no defining thing thats 100% either of them. And Odette to me is still so young, and idk if cause she’s the only girl or what but she looks like Gen. Just my opinions, thanks anon!😊

I’d like to mention it’s ok to thank Jared if his efforts with AKF have helped you. Jensen too. That let’s them know they’re appreciate and that they’re really helping. It’s when people go into these detailed descriptions of they’re terrible situation that is not ok, and very stressful for people who are not profesaionly prepared to hear. And even stressful for those who are in that field.

Hi! not sure if this is the same anon or not but i completely agree with you! It meant the world to me that I was able to tell Jared he inspires me, that I was able to thank him. And while obviously I can’t be 10% positive that someone saying that to him doesn’t have any ill effects (for whatever reason) I can’t imagine that it ever would. And yep, I also agree with you thats as far as it should go. I encourage people to thank the people that inspire them, that helped them through a difficult time, that hell maybe you just like seeing their face i dont know. But there are plenty of ways to thank a person that has helped you througha difficult time without burdening them with a difficult story. And I know its naive to think that Jared (and Jensen and the rest of the cast) will never be the recipient of an emotional story or of someone breaking down, I do hope to hear about them less often

I was there with my friends and I was beyond angry. I understand wanting share your story- I get it, but the emotional dumpagebis too fucking much and people NEED TO FUCKING STOP before they ruin it for others. She was being selfish and I’m even more angry that her mom didn’t say anything and just let the daughter unleash. He’s NOT A FUCKING THERAPIST…. I’m just sad that happened ☹️

Sorry it took me so long to answer this! The post I made got way more notes than I thought it would and I’ve been figuring out that what I typed in the heat of the moment, if you will, doesn’t always reflect exactly what i was trying to say. I really don’t think the girl was trying to be selfish. She got overwhelmed,I’m sure, in the face of meeting someone so important to her. And not everyone is on social media (ie Tumblr) so not everyone has heard the stories of how much those types of autographs effect Jared. Why her mom didn’t try and stop her before she got really worked up i don’t know, not really my place. Overall, I’m just worried and upset at the frequency that this happens, and I wish people would take a look at how they approach the cast. The relationship the fans and the cast has fosters the idea that we are closer to them than we actually are. And while some fans do actually know the cast, and the cast is always happy to meet new fans and talk to them, we don’t actually know them. We see and know what they let us, which is amazing. But also, they don’t know us. At all really. Especially a conventions, because there are just so many fans. And for people with emotional stories like the girl’s that they wish to share, they really just need to look at who they are sharing them with. It’s not a close friend, it’s actually not someone you know well and they probably don’t know who you are. They cannot go off and take 10,20,30 minutes after you tell them a story to process it and bounce back. They have 5, maybe 10 minutes if they push it. Which also creates less time for the other fans. Ugh its all just a little frustrating to me that this keeps happening. But I hope the rest of the convention was good for you and I’m glad to hear from someone who witnessed the interaction also!
