headcanon meme: ☾ (sleep) + sam

on the nights when sam dreams of hell, he wears a hoodie with the hood over his head, and makes himself as small as possible under his covers. if he keeps as warm as possible, sometimes the nightmares get better. if they don’t, at the very least, when he wakes up, the reassurance that lucifer’s icy touch is no where near him comes quicker.
