Instead of Sam giving credit to Dean and Castiel, I wish Sam had given the credit to himself for how strong he was/is, how he realized that he could make the choice whether to use his powers for good or evil and he chose good and SAVED THE DAMN WORLD.

sam giving jack his space and letting him figure things out on his own

sam telling jack that he knows what it’s like to not fit in and to be afraid of the darkness that’s inside you

sam trying to prove to dean that jack can be saved because he was saved

guys, this is like almost everything I love about sam bottled up into one episode

Of course Sam would feel that way and it makes sense with the way he thinks and acts but honestly, Dean and Cas did way more harm to Sam than good when it came to helping him accept himself and his powers and I will forever be pissed about Sam (and the show and fandom) acting like they actually supported him
