Now that we know Jack believes Cas to be his father, his calling Sam “father,” rather insistently, TWICE, at the beginning of 13.01 is even more adorable. Like, he saw Sam and just thought, “You are big and warm and kind and soft and gentle. Momma told me there’d be a guy who’d watch over me. This huge, beautiful cinnamon roll of a man must be him.” Same, Jack. Same.
