ALL THE FUCKING RAGE. I get wanting to get him closer to Dean. I GET wanting to make Dean relaize that Jack is good and for them to get along. WHAT I DO NOT GET, is how that suddenly translate to Dean is Jack’s best friend??!!? and how he did more for Jack than anyone else??! How Sam, who believed in him from the start, how pushed him to do good, be good, trusted him, does not count for that?! AND if after all this Jack dies I will be VERY upset

“it’s time together that matters,” Jack says, as his loving dad Sam sits alone in the bunker
This may come off as wank, but oh well. This just feels like another example of Dean getting control over relationships of that belong to them both. The writer’s prioritizing Dean. I’m glad Dean is getting moments with Jack, but to again belittle the connection Sam has always had to him saddens me. Sam who has always been there for that kid. Who knew his birthday.
YUP. I just wish they would do it evenly. Which I get can be hard because if they were to do that it would almost have to be between the 3 of them. But i just wish they hadn’t built up and entire season of Sam and Jack bonding only to not have ANY of it this season. I’mg glad Dean is growing, but like you said, I wish it wasn’t at the cost of Sam
Is next week just a brothers ep too???
Oh big surprise, Sam gets knocked out
sam: *has been possessed 4 times, 3 times without his consent, was clearly traumatized by at least 2 of these*
the writers: okay um? let’s have a mention of sam being possessed once this season? and let’s never mention the effect these possessions have on his mental health? ever?
dean: *gets possessed once*
the writers: oh yeah he’s traumatized!!!!! he’s gonna be pushing down his emotions and they’re all gonna come out before the season is over!!!!!
Cas i’m sorry you ain’t even got a personality what you mean you had “yourself” lmao
spn are you telling me cas, who can canonically see demon’s true faces, DID NOT NOTICE HE WAS SURROUNDED BY EFFING DEMONS
The look people get on their face when you say you don’t like Castiel. They are so shocked. Like sorry, he ain’t that special. Then they’re like “why don’t you like him?” and I give my list: Castiel broke Sam’s hell wall, lied to the brothers, let Lucifer out, let the Leviathan’s out. He’s responsible for Bobby getting killed, Kelly getting killed, hundreds of Angels murdered at his hands. Blank looks on their face. I swear the show does a real good job of erasing Castiel’s part in the blame of “EVERYTHING” that people have to actually remember his guilty part in the act.
I’ve always thought the problem with Castiel is that a lot of people came to him through the very cute fan art and the wildly out of character fanfiction (for both him and Dean). The people that “love” him have this warped view that isn’t based on any reality in the canon on the show. If you like someone and have the view they are a cute snowflake that needs to be protected, you are going to be a lot more forgiving of their faults (or possibly not even see their faults at all.) The reverse is also true, where fandom paints a character in a bad light (*cough* Sam Winchester *cough*), you will view that character unfavourably and look for faults while watching, regardless of the reality of their actions on screen.
Okay but imagine this:
Dean finally getting control of his body again and breaking down apologizing to Sam for Gadreel because he finally knows what it’s like now
Except that he HAS apologized to Sam for Gareel or just EVERYTYING, like, thousands times ALREADY?
He called himself POISON, and he took the whole responsibility of Kevin’s death himself. And he took the MoC to fight Abaddon and HIMSELF alone, and then dead and then was turned to a damn Demon for apologizing and atonement. But what was his sin? Oh, it was SAVING HIS BROTHER’S LIFE, desperately!
And Michael? Dean LET himself be Michael’s tool, be the vessel for SAVING SAM, AGAIN!!! He ALLOWED it, with full awareness of the consequences AND “what it’s like”. And wanna bet? When he coming back, when he “finally getting control of his body”, not like his brother, Dean would NOT put a single blame on the brother of him he had to sacrifice himself, not just his body but also his soul, his will, his BEING to save. He would berate the one and only for whatever Michael did: Dean Winchester. He would ignore all his dilemma and his struggle and his intention and his enforced responsibility since he was four, but just remember his means and the result it causes, like every time things gone wrong.
You know, it’s just exactly what Sam did to him after came back from Gadreel. I mean all the selective blindness and pointed blames. Seems it’s just ALWAYS Dean at the end of the shot, no matter who holds the gun, Sam, Dean himself, or you guys. Oh remember the Faith event? Back then, it was Sam got 2 citizens killed for saving Dean against Dean’s will. What was IT like? But still it was Dean whom Dean kept blaming on, and it was Dean who bore the burden of guilt since. And you wanna talk about apologizing?
But rest your soft bleeding heart, with the writers nowadays, it’s almost promised there will be THE apology you so long for– even if they don’t remember the S9 exists at all. After all, Dean was/is designed for apologizing.
Woah, there. Dean calling himself “poison” is not an
apology.Cutting for length and wank.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure Dean not only didn’t apologize, he said he would do it again.
