I’m consistently impressed by the way that, after 12 years, J2 still put their hearts, efforts, and talent into every episode of SPN. They know the show isn’t going to get cancelled and that they have a guaranteed job as long as they want. At this point they could easily be phoning it in, but they still work so hard and dedicate so much to their characters every single week, and it really shows onscreen. I wish I could thank them for that, because Sam and Dean deserve it.

We should extend a challenge to Andrew Dabb next season. For every episode, allow a group of spn fanfic writers to go head to head with the writers on staff. Give them both the general storyline and what elements it needs to have and see who turns in the best script.

You know what I found amazing at the con? Not one spn fan that I met in line at #ahbl8 is on tumblr or Twitter. They don’t know about the wank, or shipping wars. They just love the show. It is a bigger spn world than what we see here.
